We knew there was no turning back after this. Thanks Amos!

Muscle Car Enthusiast 2/2008

R&A Motorsports Inc. has a showroom full of completely rebuilt, and highly detailed engines, transmissions, and various other classic parts in our showroom.

This was our first of a handful of technical articles. Enjoy.

Mustang Monthly 3/2008.

Although R&A Motorsports Inc. had appeared in MM in the months leading up to this cover, it was just initial reporting on the first Twister Special sightings.

For this cover Donald Farr commisioned Tom Shaw to shoot the cover and feature. So the story goes like this:

Tom Shaw wants some driving shots and it was about 26°. We have Terry Fritts driving the coupe prototype (front car), and Bob Gaines riding shotgun in the convertible with Jeff driving. We pull over and tell Jeff you have to put the top down on the convertible. So Jeff and Bob arn't smiling they are gritting their teeth! Tom is hanging out of the lead car from the back seat shooting pictures. After about 30 minutes that was enough. Tom said "I think we have something to work with."

It was worth every minute. The picture is fantastic. It gives you motion sickness looking at it. Nice work Tom!

Mustang Monthly 4/2008

This is just one of the cool jewels in R&A Motorsports Inc. collection. Our show room is full of classic, restored, fully detailed engines.  This one captured the cover of MM for April 2008. The 428CJ.

5.0 Mustang and Super Fords 4/2008

I had the honor of having dinner with Steve Turner in April. He had the chance to drive the Twister Special™. As did his associate Michael Johnson. Michael's write up is a crack up. Thanks guys.

Mustang & Ford Trader 4/2008

We were pleasantly surprised when our dear friend Austin Craig called and said he wanted to do a story on the Twister Special™ for one of the magazines he works with.

He did a great job with the story. Thanks Austin!

Another great job by Tom Shaw giving a ton of great pictures and information to the readers on the 40th anniversary 428CJ. There was so much information Tom Shaw shares that it has a part 2 in the following month.

Mustang Times 7/2008

Here is the 1967 Terlingua Mustang tribute car we built for a customer of ours.

The car is a 100% accurate replica of the car Carroll Shelby built and Jerry Titus drove for Shelby American in 1967.

We were very lucky to have our friend Austin Craig supply us with a ton of documentation. Thanks Austin.

Cool story time:

While we were in Tulsa Jeff and J. Bittle were goofing at about 1AM. They decided to get the Terlingue car out along with J's vintage race car from the same time era. Both cars have long tube headers and NO exhaust. Loud was an understatement! It got everyone's attention in the parking lot, the bar, guest inside the hotel on the 10 floor (and down) turned on their lights, and car alarms were going off. Remeber what they say: "if you can't take a joke..."

One last thing: the center spread that Francis Butler shot is absolutely AMAZING! You ask why didn't you show us? Do you see the sticker on the front cover? It was mailed to a member. Go join MCA today and you can have this magazine sent to your house (or office) every single month.

Mustang Monthly 7/2008

 Story time:

In late February we sent our Twister Specials™ to Florida to have the press spend some quality time with our babies. 6 weeks later Julie and I went to pick the cars up and drive them home. Donald Farr was kind enough to pick us up from the airport. The first thing he said was "I have never had so much attention as I have driving this car." I said would you mind putting that in print. He only gave a sly grin. Well here it is. We as a company are very flattered by his comments. We are glad you liked it. Thanks!

Muscle Car Enthusiast 8/2008

Did I mention R&A Motorsports Inc. has got several tons of cool engines in our showroom? This is the Boss 429 detailing article. And you can expect nothing less than a great story from Muscle Car Enthusiast. The layout, the text, the pictures, the overall content is fantastic. Nice work.

Mustang Enthusiast 8/2008

I have been lucky enough to meet Larry Jewett, and John Nichols from Mustang Enthusiast. In April we had dinner together.

Larry gives us a look inside his thoughts on the car. Thanks!
